Aesthetic Treatments

Dermaplaning

This is a simple and safe treatment it is a deep exfoliation of the epidermis and rids the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).

This is a great treatment for my clients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed to use peeling agents on their skin because of the risk that the chemicals will be absorbed into the blood stream.

It is also amazing for those of you who have excess vellus hair on the skin. The hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair leaves the skin looking much healthier.

A lot of my clients have asked and are concerned that the hair will grow back heavier and darker after treatment. This will not happen. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before.

Skin peels

As far as chemical peels go, glycolic acid peels are among the mildest and most popular. I’m using one of the mildest at 40%.
So there is no downtime.
Glycolic peels are made using glycolic acid which comes from sugar cane and so are classed as one of the most natural peels. They are ideally used to treat a range of skin problems including acne, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and pigmentation.

It will help with skin renewal (collagen) and make home care products work better on the skin.

This skin peel will remove the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, leaving your face looking and feeling fresher and younger after just one treatment.
